Front Desk Attendant from October 2016 - June 2017

  • Update the calendars and appointments of staff counselors, relaying any relevant information or necessary accommodations.

  • Manage and represent EOP at the front desk, welcoming and assisting students as they come in for appointments. Communicate to students the services provided by the office and seeing how I could help in any way.

  • Keep up the cleanliness of the EOP front desk, as well as the waiting area and all literature in it.

Working at the Educational Opportunity Program exposed me to the many resources services available to students at UCSB. The was an eye opening experience because so often students fall through the cracks, even though there are staff and counselors working tirelessly to be of service to students. I regularly used the services provided there as well.
